We have had the good fortune to be chosen for field trials of the Rapid Blast 1200 initiation system.  We have been using the system for just over 2 years now and have been thoroughly impressed with it.

The great advantages are that it is a robustly packaged, simple to operate complete test and firing system all in one unit.  The ability to test all firing lines and then connect them to fire individually or fire up to 8 lines consecutively with fail safes and safety features that ensure that misfires and unplanned detonations are a thing of the past is very reassuring.

In our operation we fire shots several times per month so the time saved by not running lead lines etc., as we used to do, is a great benefit.  With the transmitter having up to 1 kilometre range it ensures that all personnel are well outside the blast danger zone when firing.

In the 2 years we have had the unit we only had 1 issue which was a faulty transmitter battery, the team at TJPe – Rapid Blast had that replaced straight away ensuring that we had no downtime with the unit, service was excellent.

Purely based on the safety features, time saving, simplicity, reliability and robust construction of the unit we can highly recommend the system for anyone requiring an initiation system.
